This can be run on demand or setup as a Background Service to run on a schedule. This utility makes sure the Inventory Asset Account EQUALS the value of inventory in the inventory system. To correct the actual inventory, run an Inventory GL Value report to find which inventory items need to be adjusted and make the change in inventory. A manual journal entry to adjust this should NEVER be done in an attempt to fix the balance of an asset account as the system (this utility) will just correct it back to what it should be.
