Enter Warranty Claims

Menu Location: Main / Tables / Warranty / Warranty Claim

1. Complete the Warranty Claim Screen with information received from customer submitting request.
2. When the warranty work has been completed, click the Reimbursement button located in the upper right side of the screen.
3. From the Warranty Reimbursements Screen complete pertinent reimbursement details.
4. Enter the quantity for the items approved to be reimbursed.
5. To submit the warranty check, select the Approved checkbox.
6. The Payment Total displays the total of all sections (labor, parts, other) approved. This is the amount of the reimbursement check.
   

• To deny a claim, select the Denied checkbox.
• Select Returned if the part is returned to the customer and no warranty check should be generated.

Create Warranty Checks

Menu Location: Main / AP / Create Warranty Checks

1. From the Create Warranty Checks dialog box, select a category from the drop-down list. To print warranty checks for all categories, do not select a category from the list (leave it blank).
2. Click the Print Checks button. Upon completion a dialog box will appear indicating “Done”. The check records are now created and ready to be printed. Note: The “Paid” checkbox at the lower left corner of the Warranty Reimbursement screen is now checked.
3. Print the checks.

Additional Information

Markup Group
Near the bottom of the main Inventory Screen (Main / Inventory / Inventory) is the Markup Group field.

Double clicking on Markup Group will open the Markup Price Group Screen which displays markup group details.

Labor Rates
Labor rates for dealers are set on the Acct Defaults tab from the main Company Screen (Main / Tables / Company).

The Warranty Rate set on this screen will auto populate into the main Warranty Claim Screen when you select the Warranty Performed By company.
