Epiphany assumes the start times are the green box times. If the employee punches in at 6:00:01AM the system assumes the employee is late (red line). Punching in at 6:15:01AM assumes the employee is punching in for their 6:30AM start time and adjusts the start time to then (green line). Similarly, from 6:30:01AM to 6:44:59AM the employee would be late, and from 6:45:01AM to 6:59:59AM the employee would be on-time for their 7:00AM shift and the adjusted time would be 7:00AM.
