HowTo:Filter On Null Records

When filtering on a screen, the "=" and IS NULL fields are used.

The "=" is used when the field is a text input field.

The IS NULL is used when the field is a related record.

Filter on a text input field:

1. Right-click the field you want to filter on and select Filter By. The Filter Screen appears.
2. Use Condition equal to "=".
3. Search Value is empty.

Filter on a related field:

1. Right-click the field you want to filter on and select Filter By. The Filter Screen appears.
2. Change the Condition from "=" to IS NULL.
3. Search Value is empty.
